More About Excel’s Operations
Our core product is a hemostasis valve, which is used primarily in interventional cardiology and angioplasty procedures. We have FDA 510(k) approval to market this device. These valves are manufactured in a number of different sizes and configurations, and components are molded and assembled in-house. We are uniquely positioned in the hemostasis valve market because of our capability and willingness to customize hemostasis valves according to customer specifications, for a variety of applications.
We are continuously expanding our contract manufacturing capabilities in order to provide customers with a full package of services to simplify their outsourced projects. We can assist customers throughout the various stages of product development. We work with inventors and engineers in the design and development stages to take their product from mere concept, through clinical trials, and ultimately into production and distribution.
In the early stages of product development, we can provide customers with product design input geared toward manufacturability, efficiency, and cost control. We provide rapid prototypes and assistance with component sourcing and manufacturing process development. Once designs have been finalized, we offer extensive validation services to ensure that manufacturing, packaging, and sterilization processes yield consistent results. Finally, we can handle most aspects of product manufacturing, including the molding, cleaning, assembly, testing, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of finished goods.
